My name is MeiLi Skye. It's nice to meet you!
I am an artist of sorts, full-time reader, and an unofficial critic. Like everyone, I have my own preferences and opinions, but I do my best to be as objectively constructive as possible and listen carefully to what others say.
Since this is an "about me" section, please allow me to share some of these preferences. I especially enjoy thrillers and mysteries; however, I happily expand my scope to as many genres as possible. So long as they fall within the parameters of my moral compass, any book recommended to me is fair game.
Due to a slew of chronic health conditions such as SLE and rheumatoid arthritis, I find myself drawn to books that include or highlight mental and physical health.
The only genre that I despise in its entirety is sexual and pornographic material in any form.
I appreciate your taking the time to read through my unsolicited opinions on books and other things. Whether you're a reader or not, there's a book out there for everyone! You just have to go hunting for it. It may be a long time, but you will find one. Perhaps it's that picture book from your childhood or a textbook on marine biology; I wish you happy reading regardless.
